  • Applicants must hold a valid foreign passport or nationality certificates for four years  or above and have an actual overseas residential record for at least two years over the last four years (by the end of April 30th of the year of entry).
  • Applicants of Master Degree Programs shall be under the age of 35 and hold a Bachelor's Degree or higher degree.
  • Applicants shall attain at least 65 percent or equivalent grade in all subjects, admission of the best applicants.
  • Applicants of Chinese-medium programs shall have an adequate command of Chinese language: Applicants of programs of science, engineering, economics, law, management, education and arts instructed in the Chinese language must attain a score of 180 on the  HSK4 (Chinese Proficiency Test Level Four); applicants of programs of literature, history and philosophy instructed in the Chinese language must attain a score of 180 on the HSK5.

*1. A Study Plan or Research Proposal(written in Chinese or English)
This should be a minimum of 800 words for graduate students.
*2. Two Recommendation Letters(written in Chinese or English)
Applicants of Master's programs must submit two recommendation letters signed by professorsor associate professors.
*3. Deposit Statement
If the duration of studies isless than a year, proof of financial support for the duration of studiesmust be submitted; if the duration of studiesismore than a year, proof of financial support for the first yearmust be submitted(minimum of RMB30000).

*5. Foreigner Physical Examination Form(photocopy)
Written in English, only required for applicants planning to stay in China for more than 6 months. The physical examinations must cover all of the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. Incomplete forms or forms without the signature of the attending physician, or the official stamp of the hospital, or a sealed photograph of the applicant are considered as invalid. Please carefully plan your physical examination schedule as the result is valid for only 6 months. You can download a template or sample from here.

Graduation certificate in languages other than Chinese or English should be translated into Chinese or English and be certified by notarization.
10. Release Letter
Applicants registered in or admitted by other schools shall submit a Release Letter issued by the relevant schools.
11. A CD of your own works(only required for arts students)
Applicants for music studies are requested to submit a CD of their own musical works. Applicants for the fine arts programs must submit a CD of their own works which include two sketches, two color paintings and two other works.
12. Valid documents of your legal guardians in China
Only required for applicants under the age of 18.
Tips: For applicants who are in China: If you are an employee, you still need to provide employment separation certificate and your current residence permit. If you are a student, you need to provide transfer certificate, leaving certificate, certificate of attendance rate issued by previous school and your current residence permit.
